Terms of Service

Welcome to AConsultIT Academy. By creating an account or using our services you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

1. The service

We provide an online learning platform with video / slide lessons, interactive quizzes, AI tutoring, and a points-based economy that lets you unlock paid content. The service is operated by AConsultIT OÜ, Tallinn, Estonia.

2. Your account

• You must be at least 16 years old (or have a guardian's consent) to create an account.
• You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity under your account.
• You must provide accurate registration information.
• One person, one account. Sharing accounts is not permitted.

3. Points & payments

• Points are an internal currency. They have no cash value, are non-transferable, and cannot be redeemed for cash.
• Purchases are processed by Stripe in EUR. Prices include VAT where applicable.
• EU consumers have a 14-day right to withdraw — except where you have already started consuming digital content (i.e., used your purchased points). By starting a paid lesson you acknowledge this and waive the withdrawal right.
• Refunds outside the withdrawal window are at our discretion and only for technical issues that prevented you from using the service.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or copy course content.
• Resell or redistribute access to your account.
• Use automated tools (bots) to interact with the platform.
• Post content in discussions that is illegal, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, or commercial spam.
• Abuse the AI tutor (try to extract harmful instructions, attempt to bypass content rules).

We may suspend or close accounts that violate these rules without refund.

5. Content ownership

All course content (video, audio, slides, quizzes, written material) is the intellectual property of AConsultIT OÜ or our licensors. You receive a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to access and view the content for your own learning.

Notes, discussions, and other content YOU post: you retain ownership but grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to display it on the platform.

6. Certificates

Certificates issued upon course completion confirm that you completed the lessons. They are verifiable via the public verification URL embedded in each certificate. They are not equivalent to official Microsoft certifications — to earn an official Microsoft certificate you must register and pass the relevant Microsoft exam.

7. AI tutor disclaimer

Alex (our AI tutor) provides best-effort answers but may produce inaccurate or incomplete information. Always verify critical information against official documentation. We are not liable for losses arising from reliance on AI tutor responses.

8. Limitation of liability

Subject to applicable law, our liability for any claim arising from this service is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.

9. Termination

You may close your account at any time from your profile page. We may suspend service for abuse, non-payment, or legal reasons.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Estonia. Disputes will be resolved by the competent courts of Estonia, except where mandatory consumer law gives you the right to file in your home country.
